I was born in 1952. Originally from London I've lived in St.Ives, Cornwall UK for over 30 years.
I began painting in the 1970s and have been
exhibiting since the 80's, I studied briefly at the Hammersmith school of art in London.
I've always been fascinated by the Golden Age of popular culture & some of the imagery that finds it's way into my paintings comes from this period. I find the distance of time brings about a poetry that greatly appeals to me and which I would describe as nostalgia without sentimentality.
