About The Artwork
The inspiration for this painting is Kurt Cobain, the leader of the 90's grunge band, Nirvana. The bold colors and overall style of the painting symbolizes, to me, his short and chaotic life. His music defined the sound of the decade, and had a huge impact on me at that time in my life. The painting is done using Lascaux Studio acrylic, and the image wraps around the sides of the canvas. A satin varnish was used to finish the painting. It's signed on the front.
