Micaela Cometa (B.1985 Palermo Italy) In 2020 i launched my new painting collection after a long time of painting as a hobby to escape the hecticness of daily routine. I studied advertising for 5 years in University Of Palermo. In 2005 I settled in Milano where I worked for Saatchi & Saatchi as account manager. After traveling for a couple of years I settled in Lanzarote in 2015 where I find daily inspiration for my works. Her neutral palette conveys organic and modern elements such as lava, aluminium foild and stone, while her minimal paint marks preserve their stories. mias' work has produced a variety of series over the years, all with the common thread of providing evocative moments to her viewers. Her work can be found in both private and corporate collections, and she is currently represented by: "Los Colores de La Isla in Lanzarote Art Gallery; Exhibit by Eduardo Fariña in 2022 La Biennale di Genova in 2020, Lacuna Art 2020.
