Born in Belgium and currently based out in Italy. I create paintings and illustrations with a dreamlike and surreal style inspired by symbolism, alchemy, folklore and mythology as well as fantastic and sci-fi literature. In my paintings there is a constant search for historical symbolism. I use the same conceptual approach with which I started as a published author before dedicating myself to painting. My intent is to explore the emotions, even the most difficult or dark, with a hint of kindness. Art is my way of elaborating them in order to grow, to face reality without forgetting to dream.
