ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece was inspired by a legend of the ancient Lakota nation. It tells about an old woman who is weaving a bison skin on the edge of the end of the world, accompanied by her dog. The legend says that if she finishes weaving this skin the end of the world will begin... By making this work I hope to bring to the eyes of the viewer the interest in ancient cultures combined with modern art, creating a bridge between antiquity and modernity.
