Sometimes the landscape tells its own story. I try to use my paintings to capture the identity of our beautiful city and the people who make it what it is. In the hustle and bustle of our city life, we often find ourselves on the move and multitasking. This was a gorgeous day in San Francisco. The sun was blazing high, making interesting shadows beneath the surfaces that it touched. She crossed the street in a haste, whilst maneuvering through the activities she had to take care of on her cell phone. I felt like she truly defined the typical make-up of a bay area professional and so I captured her. That we may look at this piece and be able to connect it to our own lives, even as we envision ourselves on the same side walk...... on the move...... simply getting through the day...
