Born in Paris and based in Wellington since 2017, I am a self-taught artist driven by an insatiable curiosity for materials and techniques. While my work explores various mediums, I find my most instinctive language in oil painting and clay sculpture, cast in bronze or plaster. Far from Paris, exile led me to deep introspection, awakening an absolute creative need. While I appreciate the sharing and community aspects of social media, I never create artworks to please an audience but rather to follow an inner necessity, to give shape to the unseen, to summon the psyche. My deep interest in writing and psychology is intrinsically linked to my artistic practice, nourishing and accompanying my creative process. My perspective has been shaped by my studies in art history, cinematography, and photography—disciplines that continue to influence my perception of light, composition and atmosphere. I have left fragments of my soul in Versailles, Brittany, Rome, and in the hidden châteaux of the French countryside, steeped in old stone and memory. I see my work as a journey, a continuous evolution. I hope to take you along in this inconstancy and adventure.
