Continuing my "Alkoholika" series, Lambanog originates from Luzon island in the northern Philippines, commonly called Vino de coco during the Spanish colonial period. It has a very high alcohol content of 40-50% (80-90 proof). When I was in high school, me and my friends would go to this bar called "Jamz" and buy bubblegum - flavored lambanog. One Christmas, I got so drunk from this that a whiff could make me wanna throw up. The best lambanog I've tried are from Quezon province. I went there once to attend a birthday party with maybe 30 other friends and we fit in a small jeepney. We buy this in galons so we can drink all day and all night for the whole weekend. Pastel and acrylic painting on black 24x32 cm textured 160 gsm canson paper. Shipped in a tube with certificate of authenticity. Archive quality framed prints also available. Shipping worldwide.
