I was born in Cuba and studied at the National Art School, the top level at that time and also the most prestigious. I leave in my country for most of my life and working as a professional artist for several decades. In my early years as plastic artist I developed an experimental work, were a time came when seduced by the beauty of nature around me and keeping the cultural moment of the day, I work for years the realistic landscape. After a successful career in the genre I finally begin to regain the kind of work I started as a painter, then I went back to mixing realism, expressionism, abstraction and sometimes surrealism, in a work that aims to be a reflection of the artist out and inner world. At the present my philosophy is based on the concept that within the same work, the realism is a reflection of what we see, and everything else only pretend to reflect the forces or energies of the artist inner world.
