My paintings contrast serene landscapes with edgy, textured bits peeking through, creating the glimmer of the sun on the surface of a stream or pond, adding to the luminosity of a cloud or sky and bringing energy and balance to each composition.
Descended from a family of lawyers, I'm the self described “black sheep” who always knew I wanted to create compelling things. The common thread throughout my career is art. As creative director of my own agency, I designed campaigns for Warner Bros., Disney and Kawasaki, among others. I also design products, one recently featured in the New York Times, is a cinematography device for smart phones, a beautiful, highly functional piece of gear used by filmmakers and institutions throughout the U.S.
