After 15 years of theatre teaching for school and adult audiences, Isabelle Mispelon has enriched her artistic career by working with painters Marino Barberio and Jean-Marc Denis and then with glass artists Perrin & Perrin and Philippa Beveridge. Today installed in a former frame factory of the Lille suburbs, in a workshop bathed by the light of the North, it continues a dialogue with the Color and Transparency. Abstract fluid, dynamic, some would say lyrical… Working on color above all, the works of Isabelle Mispelon combine fluidity and movement. In his attempt to make the canvas sing, the artist brings forth cloud or oceanic forms, lava flows or deep abysses. It offers the viewer a journey into the vital energy of colour.
