"The shooting" : Shooting scene of a short movie for the graduation of a student of the cinema school « La FEMIS » in France. The show business industry is a job for some people, a career, it’s a dream for others. Behind the scenes, behind the movie there are thousand of people working to make it : producers, actors, directors, technicians, … There are working to put on a screen a part of life, a moment of love, an adventure story… On this 2020 year, these people have been impacted by the crisis , both sanitary and economic. How many of them will still be working in the future, how many of them will continue to try to live their dreams in a very competitive industry ?. How many of them will lose their mind, their money, their family to reach the big screen and the celebrity ? This painting is a tribute to all artists working to make us dream, to give our everyday lives some color, some passion, some dream. Without the artists life would be grey and sad. Among my most recent paintings this is one rare with characters because these people are the central point of the topic. The walls are recovered with bubbles of colours, painted with layers after layers of paint. The characters are made by little touches of paint. The painting is protected by a bright acrylic varnish and the sides are protected by a black ribbon ; Ready to hang on a wall
