I was born and raised in Switzerland, where my passion for drawing has been a constant presence in my life. After building a career in human resources and dedicating time to my family and two children, I felt a strong desire to immerse myself more deeply in the world of drawing and painting. My artistic journey took a significant turn when I enrolled in a drawing course with the talented artist Katharina Röthlisberger in Thun. This experience was further enriched by a two-month stay in Florence, Italy, where I delved into the ancient techniques of oil painting. The vibrant atmosphere of this artistic city inspired me to pursue formal studies in painting at the School of Art and Design in Zurich, where I am currently engaged in a two-year program. In addition to my studies, I have participated in workshops led by passionate artists such as Izabella Marcinek (oil painting), Sandra Chiocchetti (ink), and Thea Herzig (pastels). I am particularly inspired by the Australian artist Carla Grace, who generously shares her expertise in oil and acrylic painting. I love exploring various techniques and styles, with a special interest in creating animal portraits that capture the essence and beauty of my subjects.
