My name is Genc Rodiqi and I have been drawing all my life in all kinds of different materials but never in my slightest dreams have I thought of becoming an artist. At the age of 53, in 2018, encouraged by my closest friends and my family, I started creating serious art with immediate international success. I am self taught and I produce only what comes directly from my brain and hands. It is my intention to continue producing art this way, without any influence from anyone, in order to keep my originality uncompromised. I refuse to take any drawing classes nor to look into any kind of drawing or painting tutorials. Saying this, I dislike being called outsider artist because that does not represent the true picture about my self. All of my works have a defined concept behind them, therefore, any comparison to an outsider artist is not relevant. Thank you for visiting my page. I hope you will like what you see.
