Paris (Alexandros) was the son of the King of Troy Priamos and his wife Hekabe. The doctor has a dream when she is pregnant with Paris. In this dream, the physician gave birth to a burning piece of wood - according to some sources he saw a bunch of shrubs in which snakes were handcuffed - and saw that this wood burned the city walls of Troy and burned the whole city and Mount Ida. he consults with his son Aisakos, a seer. Interpreting the dream, Aisakos says that the child will cause the destruction of Troy and that this child should be killed as soon as it is born. When Paris was born, he was given to Agelaos, the shepherd of Priamos, to be killed. Agelaos, on the other hand, leaves the child on Mount Ida and shows a dog's tongue to his family to prove that he killed him. However, some authors argue that Hekabe himself bribed Agelaos to spare Paris' life and not to mention Priamos. He left Paris on Mount Ida to find a bear and breastfeed for five days and was found and raised by Agelaos who could not stand it. According to some sources, when Paris was left on Mount Ida, other shepherds found them and raised them as one of their families.
