ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Ángel Suarez paints two themes in his work: "Buildings and Cities" and "The Nature of Trees", this work was painted in September 2013. Corresponds to buildings and cities. The artist with his palette of intense colors, interprets groups of people settled in the great metropolis, developing as a group of families living in a building that in turn are part of this city that is growing more and more, turning man into the life expectancy on the planet. Although the human being is not present as the main figure in the painting, it is tacitly present in the building set that we see in these fantastic cities that the author expresses in each of his works.

''Deciphering the content and message of his creations, I find a very unique path for the theme he addresses, I arrive with marked interest in the housing scenarios where the presence of the human being is there and no matter the social class, however, the artist in this urban context identifies itself with a historical group and I mean the family, childhood, adolescence, youth and adulthood where they live together in the daily life; the astonishment of assuming a reality so as not to fall into unhappiness and chaos is crucial for the inhabitant of our time, where inequalities have increased and regardless of the human condition, constant love, and even the struggle to survive if it matters in this society unfair of the post-modernity where the values of neo liberalism prevail, our artist paints very well and demonstrates his sensitivity based on his intimate conviction and with authenticity is related to aspects of everyday life. In his paintings the big city encompasses challenges and achievements and his conflicting dynamics somehow accelerates his way of life and Angel, considering his achievements, always concurs with his creativity and observes the drama of the people who are looking for an optimistic exit, Angel is moved, paint and record the experiences. The colors used are linked to the character of the painter, they are warm, optimistic colors that are reminiscent, dreams and hopes; the blue, the traditional brown, the green, the red, the white, the dark brown, the yellow, among others, form an intense frame of vibrations and sensations in a pictorial atmosphere where aesthetics is notorious, on the other hand, images that later become personal proposals fulfill their mission by as the technique that Angel Suárez uses is a consequence of the years, of his vocation, of knowledge and creativity. In some works the Peruvian flags symbolize the feeling and social commitment, the flags are vital and important for defending physical, economic and cultural spaces, also, we find trees that project the meaning of life, apparently solitary trees and that are solidarity because they are close to the human groups that defend their rights, undoubtedly the tree will always be life, mystery and history of all men, let's not forget, the tree always accompanied the human being.
