ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This was a from a Plein Air class I attended on a partially clearing foggy morning in Santa Cruz at Lighthouse Park. I was not happy with the original, but I re-tried to paint the scene again from memory and a photo, once home. I was very happy with the fresh simplicity of this one. I often use a palette knife with oil paint to keep the colors from becoming muddy. I only have prints for sale on this piece.
