ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is about the evergreen and famous Hollywood actress "Marilyn Monroe" that I have grown up with and admired. With her unique style and bold attitude, she became the most popular sex symbols of the 1950's and early 1960's. She is perfect and unique in hes own field of action. Hence, I use my own style of perfect symmetrical forms, like squares and checks, to symbolise her flawless performances through which she has won millions of hearts. Doing this painting has been a very nostalgic experience for me. It is my humble attempt to take you down memory lane and I hope you will enjoy the work!
