A winter visit to Northumberland, walking along the quayside there were piles of beautifully rusted chains, set aside after a fishing trip. this abstract is the negative space between the links, telling the story of the wild north sea form which they have been pulled. Stormy skies and cold waters with fishing nets are described in this textured work.
