I saw this horse at a carnival carousel and it reminded me so much of my childhood experiences I had to take a photo immediately. It still lingered in the back of my mind a few years later when I got a new workshop, so I tried to color the horse with my childhood memories.

Short Biography Ralf Klimmeck Ralf Klimmeck was born in 1956 in West Berlin. He spent most of his childhood in Essen, which is why he considers the city in the heart of the Ruhr area his hometown. Since early childhood, he has traveled extensively with his family and has never stopped exploring other countries and cultures. Ralf Klimmeck studied painting and graphic design at the IBKK Art Academy in Bochum. He lived and painted in Wales, United Kingdom, and has now relocated his creative base back to the Ruhr metropolis of Essen
