ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece was created using acrylic paint, glitter, confetti and adhesive. I've always been intrigued by the wide range of emotion that can be portrayed by just the expression of a mouth. This was a fun piece to work on and I hope it sparks the same joy for others, as well.

I was born and raised in Katy, TX and still reside in the Houston area. I've had an affinity for all forms of art for as long as I can remember but didn't really dive in until 2013. I started with canvas pieces and then added furniture and murals to my portfolio. I love trying new mediums and techniques but I do a lot of acrylic on canvas. I am self-taught so I know that I've got a lot to learn and always welcome a challenge. I paint for myself, sometimes as an emotional outlet and sometimes just to pass the time, so my style and subject matter have a wide range but my goal is always to create something that will spark joy.
