Liquid love Print

This work shows the feeling of desperation because of a society that has forgotten about love and implication. A pain produced by a hope in a relationship that has not gone far because nowadays love seems to be in the background of our life. Because of this the painting show a body without a skin, without the possibility to feel, but with a melted heart and red drops (symbolizing pain), that are mixed with other feeling and background making people really difficult to see this pain produced by the liquid love (inspired in Zygmunt Bauman's theory) through all the feelings that society has make us think are right and desirable. I wanted the viewer to feel the mess of warm feelings but taking into account the red drops and the liquid heart, making the scene ''pink'' who symbolize a ''maybe'' and not a red symbolizing ''real love''. I chose watercolor because this way was for me the right one to symbolize the mix of colors in the way I imagine the mix of feelings, letting them interfere with each other and not making ''love'' a feeling with value for itself.
