ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is an opportunity to explore my love of portraiture and street art while pushing my art practice to encompass new mediums and mark-making techniques. This piece uses a range of mediums including acrylic, metallic bronze pigment, oil and gouache. This piece follows on from my love of pop artists such as Warhol and Lichtenstein, and street artists such as Banksy. This painting is finishes with gloss varnish, comes ready to hang with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Amanda Cameron is an artist based on the Gold Coast, Australia, who started her career as a Graphic/Web Designer and Multimedia artist, which developed into a love of oil painting. She is predominantly self-taught, and in her career as an artist, she has been a finalist and award recipient in a number of prestigious Australian Art Awards, including the Mortimore Art Prize, D’Arcy Doyle Art Prize, Lethbridge 10000, Border Art Prize and Rotary Art Prize amongst others.
