Argentine-Italian painter and architect based in Córdoba, Argentina, where he works as an independent architect. In 1982, he graduated with the highest professional degree in Architecture from the National University of Córdoba (U.N.C.). He was a member of the Drawing Chair at the University’s School of Architecture and Urbanism, and also served as a Visual Arts Professor at the “Manuel Belgrano” Commerce School (dependent of the U.N.C.). His work focuses on urban landscapes, emphasizing representative places and aiming to convey atmosphere and emotion rather than literal description. Through his paintings, he seeks to reveal what often goes unnoticed and the quiet presence of history within urban spaces. He works on Fabriano Artistico 100% cotton paper, 300gsm, rough surface, using professional Winsor & Newton watercolors. Each artwork is one of a kind, hand-signed “A. Bergoglio”, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
