Art Description

Painting: Acrylic, Oil on Canvas.

The Farnsworth House of Bauhaus master Mies van der Rohe was an architectural milestone.
It was built as an one-room weekend retreat in a rural setting.
The country house was not designed in an obvious rural style (cottage) but shaped as a modern urban steel construction with a lot of glass to create a more intense contact with surrounding nature.
It reminds us of the contemporary craze of a small house in a natural environment (tiny house) and is thus completely up-to-date.
In the painting the house is in a nocturnal environment .
The silence can be felt.
