I was born in a small old town in northwestern Russia. After graduation I moved to Moscow, where I worked in advertising as a graphic designer. Increasingly in love with art and painting, I started studying art history at the Moscow University. After several years of life between Moscow and Italy I finally moved at Florence with my family. Now I live and work in Tuscany, in a small town near Florence. What I see around inspires me to paint. Tuscany and not only landscapes, architecture, people, psychology, the human body. I like to change the technique and the materials of painting. I usually have some work started and every day I work with what I’m more attracted to. Sometimes the process is rather chaotic.
