About The Artwork
After a wonderful trip to the Middle Rhine Valley, I was once again more impressed by this fantastic landscape. For millions of years, the Rhine has cut a path through these mountains. The legend of the Loreley is still told by people today. It is said that a beautiful maiden sits high up on the rock and sings with an angelic voice. Distracted by this beautiful song, the shipmen steer their ships onto the reefs in the river and are lost. I hope I could reproduce the magic of this landscape in my picture and you like it
