School art contests led to earning a BFA in dance and training at the renowned studios of Alvin Ailey and The Dance Theatre of Harlem, while always producing art in a variety of mediums. Heffner’s artwork is conceived through “bursts of visions he sees in his mind” while drawing inspiration from great artists, dancers, designers, fashion connoisseurs and musicians. However, his grandmother’s unconditional love is what continues to inspire his creativity on a daily basis.
