ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Love your shadows is a work to get in contact with soul and spiritual side; It is a work of self research and awareness based on a 'synchronic process' where the artist's body interacts with materials, handmade paper and ink, to catalyse and transform energies into archetypal shapes and vibes.

Valeria is graduated Cum Laude in Economics and Management at the Luiss University in Rome, a double degree at the London School of Economics and City University of London and a Masters degree in the United States at Wharton University. The career undertaken led her to become a young manager and then director in the world of strategic consulting working with the top management of large national and multinational companies. The passion for creative processes, contemporary art and spiritual philosophical disciplines led her to undertake a sabbatical of travel and research, thus embarking on a new personal and professional path that also brought her back to the rediscovery of her roots in homeland, Basilicata. Driven by the rediscovery of the roots and by the passion for art and creativity, she develops a personal artistic path, reworked through photographic, pictorial and conceptual research. This continuous elaboration and suggestion will lead her to develop a personal pictorial technique: the "synchronic process", which gives life to symbolic and archetypal forms and images, evocative in those who look at them. In 2019 She presented for the first time ’Minerva", a work included in the collective exhibition "Insidioso Tevere". The work is exhibited at the Orsini Chapel in Rome and It is published in the book by the curator Roberto Lucifero She Lives and works in Rome.
