Welcome to my Art Gallery! My work explores the dynamic interplay of memory, emotion, and place through a vibrant fusion of modern impressionism and expressionism. Using a combination of acrylics, palette knives, and brushes, I build richly textured scenes that are brimming with movement and color. The unique texture created by the knives contrasts with the subtle fluidity and detail achieved with brushes, mirroring the complexity and nuance of the memories and dreams that inspire each piece. Each painting is born from places I have visited or long to experience, with figures often woven into the composition to anchor the narrative and evoke a deeper sense of connection to the scene. My creative journey began formally with a focus on textile art and functional design at a Fine Art High School in Poland, which instilled in me an appreciation for texture and composition that continues to influence my style today. After rediscovering painting in my mid-30s, I developed the distinctive style that now defines my work. This evolution has led to significant recognition, including a feature in the 100th edition of VOGUE magazine for my piece, Rain in New York. This acknowledgment affirmed the power of blending traditional and contemporary techniques to create work that resonates on both a personal and universal level. Ultimately, my art invites the viewer to step into a sensory landscape where familiar scenes are reimagined with bold emotion and textural energy.
