I am interested in the phenomenon of metamorphosis - transformation, which takes place simultaneously in two dimensions: internal and visual. My works are records regarding the dynamics of my personal experiences. They are filled with tension and strong emotions. Authenticity of expression in a given moment is crucial to me. I usually choose media that allow me to quickly apply multiple layers and to frequently edit created compositions (...as for me, art is an endless search). On canvas, I paint mostly with acrylics. I am keen on unique and unconventional solutions - such as multi-layered alcohol ink painting (not only on flat surfaces). I create intuitively, starting from the expression of gesture. I usually start to find possible meanings only at later stages of the work or when the painting is finished. My inspiration stems from the mysterious and non-obvious: peculiar characters, strange situations and coincidences - affairs that disturb and demand to be explored further. In the creative process, I strive to unveil the covered, capture the ephemeral, the elusive, and the inexpressible in words.
