Josh Josh Jones is an american artist residing in California ,working in a variety of mediums. A lot of his work is exploration and imagination. Usually working with automatic drawing (automatism) as the surrealist would work tapping into his subconscious. pulling out images from lines in sketches and shapes in paint. He also will work from life (pictures) ideas and whatever else inspires him. With painterly work to illustration style in paint. Mood can also play a role in painting and creation. He uses a variety of influences from past and present artists, including his love for hip hop music that may show up in his work as well . He is consistently painting, drawing, thinking, playing with ideas and imagination, and different materials, to create his work. He lets his style run free in order to continue to grow and not get stuck painting the same things over and over. He is an artist to watch and explore as each work can mean something different to each person that views it. With out the funds to attend art school, he took the path of self exploration and self teaching which has lead to an exciting viewing experience and a genuine look into the thoughts and imagination of a true artist.
