ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work was inspired by a patch of old bamboo at the Jefferson Island Gardens, in New Iberia, Louisiana. The tangles of the roots, and knotted stumps coming out of the soil made a beautiful composition. If you have every truly looked at stalks of bamboo, the color is amazing.
