Tina was born in Lewiston, ID and moved to Portland Oregon in the mid 80's where she worked in the creative fields of fashion design and graphic design. Studying creative Photography and sculpture in college she has been surrounded by the arts. She currently works as a chef and considers food a creative medium. With her art, she wishes to evoke emotion and transport the viewers to a time and place in their own experience past. "In today's world, as a mother, a lover, a business person, etc. we are taught to suppress our feelings, wants, desires and emotions. I am delving into my own psyche to learn and express what drives my passions and propels me forward. Every day we experience anger, sadness, fear, happiness and a myriad of other emotions. We should embrace these emotions as part of what makes us who we are and never be ashamed of our feelings. We must be present and live in each moment."
