Luna 2020 Illuminated by the full moon, which is rare, pink and round with possibility distances come together. The moon almost touches the earth and is reflected in the water below. At the paintings center, filled with inspiration a mocking bird serenades its three muses; traditionally representing song, dance and memory. To the right, another pair circle each other, having already entered the dance. A mountain lion meets the moon in the water below. Captured by its reflection, it has paused noticing another, across a swirling bamboo divide. The bamboo provides a momentary protection allowing space and time to contemplate.
