I was born in Rome, Italy in 1964. My passion for art emerged early on. Painting has been part of my life since I was little, I am the daughter of two artists; paper and colors were my favorite toys. When I grew up I specialized in technique, through the Art High School and the Academy of Fine Arts. For years I have dedicated myself to hyper-realistic painting and figurative art, balancing spaces, dimensions, light and dark, how to identify proportions and place them in their right relationship. Over time I realized that my true expression, no longer identified in a didactic form of painting, needed to express itself more forcefully, leaving free space for my feelings, my personal shapes and lines, and this led me to paint the 'abstract. My transition from figurative to abstract painting has opened the door to my inner imagination. Nowadays my abstract works are entirely made of mixed acrylic and my art plays an important role in my life. Each painting is a part of me and reflects my soul, the visual expression of experiences and emotions, in which the observer can recognize his own personal reflection. The intention is to convey a feeling of joy to give to viewers when they treat themselves to my paintings. Every time a work captures someone's heart, it moves me deeply to see how this resonates with the association of one's own experience, joining one's world to mine in a new resonance.
