Hey, my name is Stas. I'm from Cherkassy, Ukraine. Cherkassy is far from being a progressive city but with an incredibly beautiful nature that fills and inspires me to paint and make my thoughts alive on my canvases. The world is made up of energy and what is obvious to the human eye and perception is only 5%. And I want to show what everything really consists of. What is not obvious. What is the basis. Abstraction as an art form which allows you to touch the truth that is always slipping away. Each of us is looking for it in one form or another. I always felt a certain power inside me which at 25 reached its apogee and there was a nervous breakdown, that moves me to create. Before this (explosion) I didn't understand where I was going or why, I worked just to live and exist, while the force inside me tested me every day and tore me apart from the inside. Not knowing what to do with it, I ran away to the village. I found my grandfather's old paints in the attic, went outside and started drawing circles and different shapes. •At that moment I suddenly caught a special state of mind, the world of artists opened up to me, I felt their destinies and I felt like at home.From that very special day I’ve become an artist. I’ve been painting for 10 years and now I feel internally calm and want to share my worldview. All this time I have been trying to get the truth and only recently realized that it is incomprehensible. This is something Divine, something that you can touch for just a moment. And I try to capture these special moments in my art works.
