ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is one of my DOT paintings. From up close it is an abstract composition of colors - from afar it is a version of the famous "Son Of Man" painting by Belgium Surrealist painter Rene Magritte. The well known perfect of the Man with a Bolder hat and a green apple in front of his face... 180 circles of 4 inches each make up this painting. As a color composition it references the aesthetics of Paul Klee. My approach is to use as little visual information as absolutely necessary to get you the wanted image. Look at this painting through your cellphone camera and you discover the figure.
