ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I am fascinated with all wildlife, and am particularly drawn to the big cats. Their enormity of their strength and power contrasts with the tenderness and love they have for their family unit; I am always touched when I see the proud female lion protectively shielding her young cub. I introduced liquid charcoal into the watercolour washes in order to add some interest and texture to the painting. The original painting will be mounted in a 20" x 16" ivory white mount, ready for you to frame (frame not included). Size and frame shown in room view are for illustration only. Care has been taken to colour match the painting/print with what you see online, however colours on different viewing devices can vary due to individual screen settings.

Born and brought up in the beautiful surroundings of Yorkshire, I am always amazed at the play of light and colour that completely changes the appearance of the environment, its people and wildlife. I am constantly striving to reflect the impact of light and colour into my own artwork.
