I was able to visit a wonderful place on our planet Earth - Lake Baikal. A lake of extremes and records in many ways, a real geological wonder. Lake Baikal is the largest freshwater reservoir on the planet and contains over 20% of all available in the world. With its maximum depth of 1642 meters, Lake Baikal is the deepest lake in the world. The surface of the lake is 456 meters above sea level, the bottom of the lake, at the point of maximum depth, is 1186 meters below sea level. A wonderful lake, which attracts an increasing number of visitors every year in all seasons. Even in winter with the transparency of the ice and the underwater visibility of a truly record 30-40 meters. With my painting I wanted to immortalize a truly existing corner of "paradise".

I am Zaskotska Oksana Jaroslavivna (stage name: ZOJa), born in Ukraine on February 3, 1971. Since I was a child I have cultivated a passion for drawing, then later for painting which I experimented independently. I paint first with my heart, then using, in addition to brushes, my bare hands to enter the color dimension of which I love the contact, I love the smell. Painting for me is like breathing, a window opens in the imagination where everything is possible, nothing is perfect but absolutely and wonderfully unique. I have always wanted to undertake an artistic training path but the succession of events did not allow me, however I did not make me want to paint as self-taught. In 1990, therefore, I graduated in Hydrometeorology, carrying out the specialization in the Siberian Meteorological Station. In 1998 I moved to Italy, where with study and commitment I take the qualification of OSS, a profession that I have been doing every day for 16 years now, continuing to paint in my free time. Only in 2018 the passion for art became for me like a river in flood, so much so that it led me to join several cultural associations, including "Il Cenacolo"; "Free-Mind Art"; "A. L. I"; "ARTGlobal"; "Cultura Identità", actively participating in both collective and personal exhibitions. Currently my works are exhibited in private collections also abroad.
