Sarah Jackson is a contemporary fine artist who specialises in creating spontaneous realism paintings inspired by the City she lives in, Dubai. Her Cityscape paintings are dynamic with lively and vibrant brushstrokes, a signature style she applies to her work. Full of life and colour one cannot help but smile when looking at a Jackson piece. Her work radiates energy and a passion for painting.

Jackson has lived and worked in Dubai for the last 11 years as Head of Art at Jumeirah College. In 2011 she held her first exhibition in Dubai “First Glance” which contained 15 original paintings based on Jackson’s first impressions of Dubai. Since then she has gone on to create Deco Arabia, a style of artwork influenced by the art deco style of the early 20th Century.


As an artist, Jackson has looked at all the great masters, she loves the cubism style of Picasso and as a UK born artist, adores the bold style of Liam Spencer and Paul Kenton. Within her work, Jackson wants her viewer to feel excited, she creates primary colours to delight the senses and uses complimentary colours to bring the pieces alive.

Jackson’s “Spontaneous Realism” means that she works quickly in acrylic – the fast drying paint allows the artist to layer up the canvases.
