Magic Carpet Print

This painting is the result of a collaboration between Izhar Rott and Shaun Herron. In the 90s they shared a studio in Amsterdam north. During this time they worked on many collaborative works, paintings, furniture painting, decorative arts and even built a gypsy caravan. It was a time for growing, exploring, learning and evolving both on a personal level, and also creatively. Magic Carpet is the result of the exploration into human consciousness and the power of Nature. There was no set planning when they started this painting, it evolved organically, collaboratively and instinctively. It started as an experiment and it grew into a finished work of art. It took them more than a year to consider it finished. Out of a mutual agreement, Shaun waived his of this painting and Izhar and Shaun remain good friends.
