My name is Navneeta. I was born in India, but I now call United States my home. I started drawing and painting as a little girl. My art would be regularly featured in children’s magazines, newspapers etc. I didn’t make much of it then. But little did I know that this creative spark would linger on, only to glow with an ever-increasing brilliance. So much so that I put aside my thriving tech career and decided to pursue what makes my heart sing. And I must say it has been an uplifting decision. My artwork brings me immense joy. Each of my paintings start from a place of endless possibility and optimism. Each brush stroke is dipped in hope, courage and a firm belief that one can thrive, no matter how big the obstacles. One can endure it all with grace. The colors in my artwork are bright and bold just like the human spirit. This philosophy of triumph, endurance, inspiration and beauty pulsates in each of my paintings as they do in my heart. I work out of my home based studio for hours where I generally loose track of time. I love life! I draw inspiration from all that is around me – the birds, the flowers, and life itself. I also love floral paintings made by Georgia O'Keeffe's. I find myself gifted not only with loving parents, a loving husband, adorable kids, but also talent that can make someone smile.
