About The Artwork

Go ahead make my…” oh nevermind you know the rest. I began this painting as a painting of Dirty Harry but ended up with his gun. It’s fun to see where the art will lead you. Sometimes you never know. Lots of interpretation with this one. About the artist: As an emerging artist I am currently looking for partnerships to advance my exposure and sales. My work is typically done on stretched canvas and includes printed images of vintage media, acrylics, spray paint, textiles and other various mediums to keep work intriguing and surprising. My goal is to bring unique pieces of fine art that everyone can connect with. My latest collection of fine art focuses on the power of popular culture while delivering timeless fine art. My paintings have all been created this year by myself when I stopped working as a nurse. My artwork has appeared in Austin Woman Magazine, Falmouth Living and Boomer Magazine, being named as an emerging artist to watch.

Sarah Boisvert combines abstraction and figuration in her stunning works. Compelling edge to edge dynamics that isn’t trying to tell a tale-it is awakening in the viewer’s eye, a moment of energy that can be processed in ways that are truly unique to the viewer. She plucks personal references, experiences, and memories to create thoroughly expressive paintings. While the human figure is there, she has moved away from making portraits with distinguishable faces, she paints with a specific subject in mind, processing them through personal interpretations. She uses the medium of painting to record these personal feelings. Sarah’s paintings touch on themes of identity and urban alienation and are artistically reflected through a strong understanding of color and composition. Beautiful gradient hues contrast bold abstractions, reminiscent of the works by European existentialists *Thank you for your interest in my art.
