ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Meet “Mama Maria” She visits regularly and, at times, greets our family at the front door. She gave birth to twins in the spring of 2023 and they all travel together throughout the neighborhood. In honor of her gentle and fierce motherly spirit, I decided to paint her portrait. This painting is currently on exhibit at The Wimberley Community Center until February 13th. So God made the wildlife of the earth according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that crawl on the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. (Genesis 1:25 CSB)
