31.05.1954 Was born in Kyiv, Ukraine in the family of Isaac Tartakovsky, a well known Ukrainian artist, National Artist of Ukraine THE MAIN THEMATIC MOVEMENTS : 1976–1985 Paintings in the style of CRITICAL REALISM. 1986–1989 Tartakovski laid the groundwork for Ukrainian SOCIAL ART movement. Paintings: "The Court", "Pedestrians", " Once, on early silent morning...", "Destruction of the idea". 1989–1992 Series of paintings "VISION" – conceived and incarnated in his paintings a new Christian idea: "Prevention of the Second Crucifixion". Since 1990 Hes been creating a new movement - EGOCENTRIC PAINTING: "Triple self-portrait in red shorts," I decided to have some rest", "I read my favorite book”. 1997–2006 „ IDEA of the MEDITERRANEAN SPIRIT ” – a series of landscapes painted on coasts of countries of the Mediterranean Sea, Adriatic Sea, Aegean Sea, and Black Sea, as an artistic assertion of the idea of common cultural, mythological, economic past and future of these countries. 1997–2010 Created a new understanding of NEO-IMPRESSIONISM. Produced a series of Neo-Impressionistic works. Since 2003 Developed and substantiated the ART ENERGY movement, creating a series of works in this style. 2008–2015 IImplemented the initiative “METROMUSEUM of Anatoly Tartakovsky”, the scale of which has no analogues in the world of art events – for over 6 years hundreds posters-reproductions of Anatoly Tartakovsky paintings are on display in the light boxes of the Kiev Metro. "METROMUSEUM" is registered in the Ukrainian Book of Records (2013) as an institution visited by 1.5 billion people the time of registration.
