Marine iguanas Print

Watching the behaviour of these reptiles in their environment made me realise how fond I am of them. Now some people may say they are clumsy but I think they are elegant and beautiful. I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to hold one of these majestic little souls in my hands. This made me realise how special they are to me and always will be. I always thought that Galapagos was as near to paradise as you could get but then I realized that in Galapagos there is one of the harshest environment on the planet .A place where there is paradise for humans who look like they are taking over and a bitter fight for survival of native life that is left. I do not think that I have done justice to marine iguanas in this painting but I hope that the viewer will appreciate the effort
