I am fascinated by the fragile beautify of Marilyn and the movies and era she represents. In this painting, I also tried to capture the fleeting sense of her beauty and her sexy charm. I am from Japan and I started painting 6 years ago when I moved from Switzerland to USA. This is my second career and I dedicated my first career, in the United Nations, to the welfare of children in the world who were enslaved, trafficked, kidnapped… I was moved by the power of art to help the former child slaves to express themselves and recover from the living hell. I was also touched by faces of unknown people who dedicated their life to the well-being of these children. I am inspired to become an artist who can depict the power, energy and empathy of all these wonderful people who can influence and bring hope and happiness to others and who can create artwork with an impact on the world by communicating the beauty of empathy. 25% of the proceed from my art work goes to Save the Children charity. I have numerous commissioned portraitures in US, Switzerland, France, Denmark, Japan, Thailand, Ireland, Australia and UK.
