ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My work often revolves around femininity and nature. This particular work of mine takes inspiration from various folk songs of the Indian subcontinent. Often these songs describe the beautiful seasons of spring, monsoon and autumn as seasons of union.., the season when the lover is waiting for her beloved to return home.
