This is Acrylic on pine plank, ready to hang from a cord on the top of the painting, o frame required. Maya Azul Statement; Noun- Hinduism-supernatural power wielded by gods and demons to create illusions. Hinduism/ Buddhism-power by which the universe becomes manifest; the illusion or appearance of the phenomenal world. This was the first work in the series of introspection, via subconscious thoughts. Perhaps this one is the purest from the whole body as it was the spark or initial burst so pure and intentionless more closely associated to the act of breathing as a thought never crossed my mind from start to finish just the sweet detox of painting. I broke through and a plethora of imagery hit faster than I could paint, this is the outcome and the first step of many on this introspective journey.

To maintain harmony, I must periodically retreat from painting all together and constantly re-discover my painting in the name of balance. In finding balance, I try to seek joy and beauty.
